Playing For Change

I first posted about this organization back on March 24th, 2013.

I felt it worthwhile to bring "Playing For Change" back to peoples' attention who might have missed it the first time with the latest updated information.


"Playing For Change is a movement dedicated to connect the world through music. In 2007 Playing For Change Foundation was created. Dedicated to creating positive change through music education by developing music schools and programs around the world. We have created 9 music programs located in South Africa, Ghana, Mali, Nepal and Rwanda and Thailand where over 700 kids are attending free classes in dance, instruments, languages and musical theory."

The "Playing For Change Band" is hitting the road this summer for their "Stand By Me" World Tour

Unfortunately their tour itinerary doesn't include any stops near here

Wouldn't they make a great addition to Bethlehem's Musikfest sometime in the future?
