Speaking of the budget. House Republicans introduced 78 amendments on Thursday. Many which included reducing the salaries of the secretary of defense among dozens of other department heads to $1 per year. The speaker of the house even refused to allow a vote on the bipartisan Senate budget approved bill. A lot of bullshit if you ask me.

About Those High Gasoline Prices..

It roils me the amount of misinformation going around. The majority of which blames President Biden.





(1) Can someone show me one country in the world where prices are not going up? Biden cannot control prices in this country let alone prices in other countries throughout the world.

(2) Last year we used more oil then the year before. This year is on track for using even more. Yet there is no shortage at any pump. Therefore the problem is with prices rather then supply issues.

(3) There are at least 3 major oil companies supposedly competing. How come everyone of them charge the same prices within pennies? Price fixing?

(4) We used to drive efficient vehicles. Now a whole bunch of people are driving huge pickups they have no use for. Most which wouldn't fit in my garage. This along with the unnecessary single driver in a 5 or 7 seater SUV', vans, etc.

(5) I much rather spend $5 a gallon then not being able to get gasoline like we couldn't several years ago when it was less then half this price.

(6) Gasoline companies are not patriots. There's absolutely no incentive having to transport and hope to sell 20% more fuel to earn the same income they get delivering 20% less product. The same oil companies that show they're making record profits.

(7) People love to point fingers, whine and complain about everything. It's what we do.

I DISAGREE!

Most of those interviewed had been staying in South America for months. Some for years. If  my family and I arrived at a hotel and the rooms are all full we either need to go somewhere else or head back home. For these people it's as simple as crossing back to where they left Nobody is forcing them to live in squalor like they choose to do under the bridge. This is of their own making. We didn't do it. Biden nor any of us should be held responsible for these unwise decisions they continue to make.

Then there are those screaming their heads off about Biden allowing them into the country. The other half of the jackasses yelling Biden shouldn't send them to Haiti. What is Biden supposed to do. Damned if he does. Damned if he doesn't. How the hell are we suppose to stop them.. shoot them?

The way I see it these wanderers determine their own destiny. I'd not give them food nor water or anything else. All they have to do is turn around walk back across the river. None of this is America's doing. We can't take on every problem people create for themselves.

There's only so many people a boat can hold before it sinks. Such is the same with nations. Before trying to lay a guilt trip on the American people all sides need to be reminded no single nation can solve all the world's problems. There is such a thing as generosity. Another to allow others to exploit the American people's good intentions till it weakens us.

There's a time for compassion. But no such time as it endangers our country because of others failures to deal with what should be their own responsibility. In short.. these people need to realize we're not suckers for every unfortunate thing happening elsewhere in the world. They need to go elsewhere till they are invited. Even better, stay home. Work on the conditions that made them want to leave in the first place.

I apologize for the volume being so low. The White House videos all tend to be this way. The last time I tried to increase the volume I spent two hours running through three editors. The end result was the video became deteriorated. I decided it's easier for viewers to adjust their volumes instead.

Some of President Biden's most vocal critics accuse Joe of not being too sharp (to put it kindly). As far as I'm concerned he's thoughtful and deliberate in his words. Something not to be mistaken for being inept.

It's About Time!
I've been following the news coverage. It's been a week since troops left Bagram air field. Already a couple of Afghan pilots we trained were assassinated. A Afghan soldier was caught on a reporter's hot mic explaining to a Taliban tribal leader to keep it cool. They'll get together when these reporters following him leave. The airbase has been massively looted. An Afghan soldier was caught on camera embracing one of the Taliban leaders while it was taking place. Face it this place can't last a month without us.

What a horrible waste of money and human life. Enough is enough. Should have been done years ago.

Fight. What they've always done.. always will.
