Not To Cut Medicare To Fund Trade Assistance

(2) Why use Medicare as a slush fund when it's already coming up short?
(3) Why should we have to lobby congress to do their jobs protecting workers & retirees?
Only one outspoken candidate is adamantly opposed to these asinine trade deals...
In the days ahead the big money interests no doubt will shovel shit making him out to be some sort of extreme wingnut Socialist. The truth is Bernie is not against capitalism. Instead he's for reasonable and responsible corporate growth. I urge people to read this article-- What Kind Of Mayor Was Bernie Sanders? It was written for 'The Nation' by a Burlington Vermont developer who was first against Bernie because as mayor Sanders stifled his plans to create luxury apartments. He has now became one of Bernie's largest supporters. Read the well detailed article to find out why.
Some may look at him as a single issue candidate only focused on economics. Not true. Check out this NPR interview from November 2014. Among other things he stated, "My own view is that if we're going to be successful in defeating this brutal organization called ISIS, what needs to happen is that the people in the region - the Muslim nations - are going to have to take the responsibility of leading that effort. It cannot be the United States of America. In many ways I think that's exactly what ISIS wants. They want this to be a war of the United States versus ISIS, of the West versus the East, of Christianity versus Islam. What has got to happen is countries like Saudi Arabia - which, by the way has the fourth largest defense budget in the world. People don't know this. Their defense budget is larger than the U.K. or France. You know, they're going to have to step up to the plate and take the leadership in fighting ISIS." Again this is something I agree with him on..
Getting back to the original subject of trade
I'm not sure how many more bad trade deals the United States can afford before the middle class collapses completely and then take to the streets.
