Too Many People, Not Enough Fish

NBC News reports, "Fishing traps known as weirs that jut from coastlines may be snaring six times more fish in the Persian Gulf than what is officially reported."

I like lobster, sardines, shrimp, crabs, tilapia, clams and tuna as much as the next guy, but at what point will the oceans become depleted? Farm raised shrimp, tilapia and some others are so contaminated by mercury and antibiotics that they are downright dangerous to eat.

Beef are being fed a combination of poultry droppings and wheat requiring antibiotics along with steroids to increase productivity. I've been leaning towards vegan foods, but many times they are genetically modified.

So what's the answer?
