Things are sure getting tough. Add this to the list of being.. Too young/too old, Over educated/under educated, having a bad credit score, unacceptable online social media contacts, changing jobs too often/not enough, staying one place too long/not long enough, having transportation, married/unmarried, overweight, failing a physical, being a former union member, overdressed/underdressed for the interview, an improperly formatted resume, a totally clean criminal background record, etc., etc., etc.
As for 'white' folks working and needing job protections it isn't looking good because one CEO claims white males’ aren’t a protected class. Nancy Silberkleit CEO of Archie Comics is accused of referring her male employees as 'penises' rather then using their names. "Nancy Silberkleit’s lawyers claim the suit is baseless because the employees, all white men, don’t belong to a protected class."
Looks like the only future hope anyone can have to earn a decent living and earning respect is by going into politics... OR MAYBE NOT. But hey, one out of two ain't bad :-)
