My oldest monkey and I are going to enjoy WEEZER at the Great Allentown Fair this year - we are quite excited, and I am thrilled that my girl will always remember the fair as the site of her first real rock concert. (Unless you count the Wiggles, which I do.)
The fair is something I only came to know this decade. But already, it's come to mean a lot in my own family's story. It's a great annual event, and one we should definitely cherish, warts and all.
