Meatless Alternative To The Gyro

The secret to a great tasting gyro isn't in the meat that used. Rather it's in the sauce. The actual meat (like most all meats), have very little flavor.

The sauce is called Tzatziki. It's a Greek mixture made up of Yogurt (the high grade stuff is made from sheep or goat milk). The basic ingredients in most gryo sauces are garlic, salt, olive oil and pepper.

Nothing could be easier then to quickly fry up a pouch of Morning Star (vegan) beef strips. Then throw them in a wrap. You will never taste the difference. That's the way we do it.

Quick, easy and healthier.

Especially for the sheep and cows that are slaughtered, ground up and used to make a regular gyro .
