The FTC's Robocall Challenge

Reposted From October 20, 2012

So many people have complained about robocalls the FTC has decided to ask for help. They've received an overwhelming number complaints and so far the robocallers have been able to circumvent every attempt to stop them.

Even if your on the do not call list, they still call. If you use call block, they use hundreds of other numbers and change caller ID's at will. Some folks said if you push certain key combinations it will foil their servers. DON'T DO IT! If you do this it will be acknowledging their call got through. As a result you're likely to get even more of them. The only thing anyone can do is at this point is hang up.
