Quoted Ocean Cruise Prices A Fraud?

Cruise Line Hiking Automatic Gratuity Charge-- "Starting Sept. 1, the auto-gratuity charge will be increasing by almost 8%, from $12 to $12.95 per person, per day for passengers staying in most cabins.... The charges can add up — if you’re a family of four, as KHOU-11 points out, you’ll be paying $360 more in automatic gratuities on a seven-night cruise than you do now"

I'll admit it's been a few years, but we never were force billed for this. We voluntarily gave almost double of the suggested to five workers except for one who gave us bad service. This is bullshit.

Either the price for the cruise is what it is or it isn't. Worker's knowing they'll receive a tip whether they do a good job or not will kill the business.

If the cruise lines feel workers aren't being compensated enough.. PAY THEM A DECENT LIVING WAGE YOURSELVES !
