Pa. Legislators Don't Have To Show Up For A Floor Vote?

It appears so.According to John Micek (pennlive.com)-- "At 8:49 p.m. on Tuesday night, when their colleagues were casting their votes on a piece of budget-related legislation known as "the school code," three senior House Republican leaders were at a press conference in another part of the Capitol calling on Gov. Tom Wolf to sign a GOP-authored budget plan.... Yet House Speaker Mike Turzai, R-Allegheny; Majority Leader David Reed, R-Indiana, and Appropriations Committee Chairman Bill Adolph of Delaware County, were somehow able to cast votes in favor of the bill... A clear violation of the chamber's rules... none of the three leaders were in the chamber at the time the vote was recorded."
These politicos are constantly passing all kinds of laws and regulatory rules all the rest of us are supposed to follow. Yet seem unwilling to follow their own basic rules.

What a fine example you guys are!
