This is why Washington, D.C. was created
A whole lot of people wave the flag and talk about our founders, but few understand the true complexity of what it takes to truly unite.
Instead far too many of today's politicians are disrespecting our founders perceptions by placing their (so-called) individual states rights above those as a country united under one flag.
This is worrisome today as it was back then.
