No There's Not A War On Cops (Nor Christians)

FOX News hosts have made it their mission to destroy the "black lives matter" group accusing them of being responsible for a sudden spike in police shootings. As usual the facts aren't on their side.

'The Guardian' is reporting, 2015 may be one of the safest years for law enforcement in a quarter century-- " The US is on pace for 36 non-accidental, firearm-related police fatalities in 2015, which would be the lowest total in 25 years, aside from 2013."

The 'Officer Down Memorial Page' which keeps track of such things posted the following graphic on September 5, 2015.

While We're On The Subject Of FOX News..
'The New York Post' is reporting former FOX host and now presidential candidate Mike Huckabee will visit the county clerk at the Kentucky jail then hold a onsite rally. He is quoted to have said , “Having Kim Davis in federal custody removes all doubt of the criminalization of Christianity in our country,”

No Mike (and you too FOX News) there's no war on Christians. These gay couples are not trying to force any faith to marry them in one of their followers buildings of worship. They are seeking government issued licenses in government buildings. The two are entirely different.

Churches are guaranteed separation from government under the very first amendment. The framers wanted our government to represent all faiths in order to avoid internal divisions among it's peoples. The best way to do that is by not picking or choosing among the dozens to base laws on. Clearly intentions were for our government to be free of religious rule. This is what made the United States relatively peaceful allowing us to grow strong. It's what separates us from all those countries ripping themselves apart by killing each other throughout history over their numerous religious beliefs. .

Anyone who can't comprehend this shouldn't be running for President. Presidents are sworn to uphold the constitution before assuming office. Seems like Huckabee may not have full intentions of complying once in office. Apparently he's having trouble understanding why the very first amendment was placed at the very top of the list. Perhaps he should withdraw and seek another line of work.
