According to 'International Living.com "approximately one million Americans live in Mexico". Many are living well on $20,000 or less. Health insurance is less then $300 a year and they get free meds.
Sounds to me like a bunch of Americans are slipping through the border so they can mooch on the Mexican government's social service benefit programs. Back in September 'The New York Times' reported Mexico City's foreign born population doubled between 2000 and 2010. U.S. citizens make up 3/4's of the million or so now living in Mexico. They range from executives to laborers.
Maybe Mexico should build a fence too so they can keep out (illegal?) Americans. Perhaps then 750,000 Mexicans wouldn't have to cross the border into the U.S. to pick strawberries if they could find work at home.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander!
