Harry Reid On Changing Senate Filibuster Rules

The most significant point I take away from what Harry said today is, over the 230+ years a total of 23 district court nominations were filibustered. Yet just in the last 4 1/2 years alone there were 20. Don't anybody try and even dare to suggest that Republicans aren't trying to block anything and everything this administration tries to accomplish.

Damn Straight Harry. Makes Sense To Me.

I've always considered this filibuster stuff pure nonsense. I'm all for allowing legislative actions be expedited by allowing them to come to the floor for a straight up or down vote. Are you listening Speaker Boehner.. that goes for you too!
