Meghan-Harry Interview Is All The Talk

Although I watched the interview I didn't plan to blog about it. None-the-less, here I go. My comments follow at the bottom.

I believe Richard Quest summed this up quite well.

Here are some comments on that video. If the British press wants to have a go at a member of the family have a go at sweaty Prince Andrew but they don't, why is that?

Leave Harry and Meghan alone and pick up the dirty carpet and look at Andrew.

I'm glad this finally came out. The media picks one member of the royals to trash every decade . It needs to stop! And the royals need to get off their high horse and start standing up for them . Diana , Sarah and Meghan and Sarahs daughters were hated for a while

I wonder how much they were payed for this show (1) First off let me address that last poorly spelled comment. Right at the top a few minutes into the interview Oprah directly affirmed with Meghan she nor Harry were receiving one dime from the interview. So obviously this commenter, I suspect like many of the others, didn't watch the interview.

(2) Normally I don't follow this kind of drama crap. I refer to these as "people problems". Mostly ignoring them. However being curious I wanted to especially see what Harry had to say being the son of Diana. While some may consider Meghan of questionable character there's no one closer to the top then Harry. His words lent creditability.

(3) This interview confirms what I always thought of "the firm". Nothing more then a reality show before there were TV reality shows. Horses, carriages, fancy meaningless royal uniforms and all the rest of the hoopla that comes along time to time. People simply seem to eat it up.

(4) The other thing I found significant is no matter what the press or public says no one is allowed to respond in defense of themselves without permission. Usually the palace allows someone to get thrown to the wolves in the press enabling them to stay out of the spotlight.

(5) Speaking of the press. Meghan complained how they endlessly torched her. Well after going through today's news they've absolutely confirmed how vicious they are. Confirming just about every complaint made about them during the interview. This time throwing Harry in for good measure. Hey why not, that's how they make their living. They're about as phony as this whole royalty scam who also depends on dupes to support them.

In the past Diana and Sarah Ferguson gave similar interviews in which the press attacked them as well. Both of them allowing a peek into the lives of these blue bloods
