Seems we had lots of plans in place when (not if) a pandemic occurred. Heaven help us if they screw up the economic recovery as badly as they did this response. As far as I can tell we have no solid plan for an economic recovery. In other words, we will by flying blind. I'm particularly concerned about our flow of supplies breaking down.
I want to reiterate my prior statements.
This virus IS NOT going away. We have to somehow learn to coexist with it. Number one by developing a vaccine. Number two, coming up with a rock solid treatment for this infection. Without those all the tests, intubations and isolations aren't going to get us where we need to go.
