Covid-19 To Open Or Not To Open

First this thought...

The question to open or not depends whether one accepts the fact Covid 19 actually exist as a real threat. All too many now are in denial of science that tells us it most certainly is a deadly disease. For some it's political. For others they are like children told not to do something that may harm them and go ahead and do it anyway.

What if we just opened everything up completely let people do whatever they deem safe?
Problem is whatever decisions each make for themselves affects everyone. Not just themselves. This is the dilemma humans are now facing. We all know what could happen if the epidemic took off. It would kill tens of thousands more, ruining the economy. Stay shut, it too will ruin the economy along with the life style we've grown accustomed to.

Seems we're handed a challenge here by whatever higher powers may be. If there's anything to come out of this we're all interconnected in some way. How we respond will determine our fate as a whole. This damn thing seems like a nightmarish episode from 'Star Trek'.
