If there's one thing spreading faster then Covid 19 it's the amount of bullshit going around. As each day passes our freedoms are being eroded. Mostly by various levels of government imposing fines on people for going about what would otherwise be a normal daily activity.
As each day passes we're finding out most of the promises made by government are utter bullshit. Small businesses are finding it almost impossible to get the loans they were promised. Getting tested is nearly impossible. Medical equipment is still in short supply. Nearly all governments services have been shut down or so overloaded they might as well be.
Here's The Way I See It
For a very long time things will not be same as they were. Nearly every aspect of our lives will change. Many of our restaurants along with many other small businesses will disappear along with the jobs people once held in them. Large employers will require testing at their front doors before employees can report for work. Schools for a very long time will not be as they once were either. Face masks will become the norm. Governments will become desperate for lost revenue resulting in all kinds of fines we've never imagined. New screening for not only travel by plane but for nearly all other forms of transportation resulting in additional fees we haven't experienced before. This along with entertainment venues such as sports, concerts, theater or anywhere else where there is a large gathering. Our brick and mortar retailing will encourage online purchasing through various incentives (perhaps charging more for in-store purchases). Our economy will take years to recuperate through an entirely new way of doing business as we have yet to see.
Unfortunately the way I see it most of the freedoms and the life styles we've enjoyed over these many decades will be radically altered. Not in a good way.
American freedoms will never return.
