Allentown, PA Lil'-Le-Hi Trout Nursery Fish Kill

"Mike Walck, a volunteer at Allentown's fish hatchery, explains how 1,400 fish were killed during a heavy rain storm on July 14, 2014 at the Lil-Le-Hi Trout Nursery.

He and other volunteers believe recent dam removals may have attributed to the increased water flow.

The trout, a mixture of brown, brook and rainbow, were adult-size and part of the stock scheduled to be released in waterways throughout city parks during the 2015 trout season."
