Hiking-Biking The Lehigh River Trails

The "Wildlands Conservancy" has an excellent map of all the 'Lehigh River Water Trails'.

The map list hikes from Easton to White Haven, Pa.. Plus a whole lot more information on them in their 'Introduction' page.

The Lehigh Gorge Area: Has 4,548 acres of park land that follow the river from Francis E. Walter Dam in the north to Jim Thorpe in the south.

The Lehigh Gorge Trail follows over 32 miles of abandoned railroad grade along the river, providing opportunities for hiking, bicycling, sightseeing and photography..

Parking areas are provided in White Haven, Rockport and Glen Onoko.

Jim Thorpe (Mauch Chunk)

While your up in that area check out the 'Switchback RR Trail' or take a train ride.

GREAT AREA, but gets crowded. I'd avoid weekends.
