According to The Consumerist.com this guy is getting free internet service from Time Warner.
It appears Time Warner stubbornly insist that he canceled his account even though he tried to convince them otherwise that he didn't.
They sent his account to collections for a payment of $59.60 for his unreturned cable modem. As much as he has tried to convinced them otherwise, T.W remains insistent that he is disconnected and no longer a customer of theirs.
So he sent them the $59.60. Hasn't heard a word back otherwise. Has not been billed and still has his connection
Quite a bargain I would say.
