Money Greases The Wheel-- 2016 Presidential Elections

The Federal Election Commission reported $7 billion was spent on the 2012 presidential election campaigns

Politico (01/26/2015): The Kochs put a price on 2016-- "The Koch brothers’ operation intends to spend $889 million in the run-up to the 2016 elections."

FOX News (08/01/2015) is reporting Billionaires are bankrolling 2016 campaign to unprecedented degree-- "Super PACs backing 17 presidential candidates raised more than $250 million in the first six months of this year, roughly doubling the $125 million raised by the candidates for their campaigns."

The best information I've come across to date has come from Bloomberg News. "How Much Cash the Candidates Have Raised and Who’s Giving"-- "See who’s leading, and who’s falling behind, in the money race."

If money buys elections Jeb Bush, Hilary Clinton and Ted Cruz would the leading contenders at this time. Bernie Sanders (who received $0 of PAC money) would be at a distinct disadvantage, Not only would he not have this in his court but the 100's of millions (if not billion$) will no doubt be used against him. Donald Trump who's near the bottom doesn't need any. Between FOX News & his big mouth they will give him what millions of dollars never could. Rick Santorum's not even in the race.

If we actually had one ounce of morality and ethics we'd completely make PAC money illegal.

Forbid fundraising and require equal press & TV coverage.

Eliminate both parties and let candidates stand on their own w/o prejudicial party affiliations amongst voters. While we're at it take away the big lever for straight voting along party lines.

BUT THAT AIN'T NEVER GONNA HAPPEN!

If Both Parties Were Truly Honest This Would Be Their
Entertainment Theme At Both Party's 2016 Conventions
