The Year in Hate and Extremism

That's the title of a report from 'The Southern Poverty Center'

According to the 2013 hate map Pennsylvania ranks near the top with 41 of them. Only about 5 other states are worse. Pennsylvania ranks right up there. Pennsylvania has more hate groups then Arizona, Louisiana, Arkansas or Mississippi who you would suspect have more.

COMMENTARY

What I found interesting, about the graphic above, are two things. (1) The false notion that liberals' claws come out whenever a Republican is elected President. (2) The peak number of haters when Clinton was President in 1996 was 858 groups as opposed to 1,360 groups in 2012 when Obama is President.

To hear the way FOX News tells it, progressives along with their protest groups are the haters. I also question when there are 63+% more hate groups around then there were under Clinton that race isn't a factor.

I also conclude from this information, Pennsylvania's more red neck then we've been led to believe. Compared to Kentucky's 15 groups when we call Pennsylvania "Pennsyltucky" it is an affront to Kentuckians. Maybe we should call Pennsylvania from now on "Pennsyfornia" instead.
