Ain't No Such Thing As A 'Tea Party'

Try as you may, after being around for about five years, you won't find a single candidate listed on any voting machine in any of the 50 states. Although members refer to themselves as a movement, a better description might be they are just another bunch of lobbyists?

The vast majority of members' views are loosely associated with either the conservative and/or libertarian parties.

Basically they are bullying the Libertarian and Republican parties to come up with candidates for them.

One can not help wonder why after five years have they not organized an actual third party and offered one single political candidate at the voting booth. Could it be the 'Emperor has no clothes'?

It seems to me that if I were a Republican or Libertarian I would prefer to brand my own party. Why would I wish to have my legitimately declared political party assume the political liability of a undeclared third party's candidate?

If the 'Tea Party' has the support they claim, it's time to put up or shut up at the polls on election day. If or until such a day, there "Ain't No Such Thing As A 'Tea Party'.
