No More School Snow Days?

Lancaster Online
Legislation would allow schools to replace snow days with 'flexible instructional days'
"A bill working its way through the state Senate could spell the end of traditional snow days at some Pennsylvania schools... would allow public schools to replace up to five snow days with flexible instructional days, during which students complete web-based assignments at home."

"assignments at home"...Yeah Right!
You do realize in some countries they have school year round? This means our kids (and teachers) would have less then a half a year. Yet both teachers are paid and students would be credited for a full year.

In 2015 the U.S. ranked 14th in education.... 24th in literacy.
