Circus Cutting Pachyderms A Break

Ringling circus elephants to retire in May
By TAMARA LUSH | Associated Press
"The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus is ending its elephant acts a year and a half early, and will retire all of its touring elephants in May.... All of the iconic elephants will be permanently retired to the company's 200-acre Center for Elephant Conservation, located between Orlando and Tampa... 29 of the animals are on the property now."

Hell that's better then some of the retirees I've worked with have it :-)

I'm certain with all the political craziness in this country some will try a spin this as some sort of message Barnum & Bailey Circus is trying to send towards the upcoming elections.

Trust me if they wanted to send that kind of message it would have been politically far more appropriate to retire the clowns and send them to Washington instead.
