ReplyDeleteI'd be surprised if Obama says a word about this impeachment business. I'd be just as surprised if Carter, Bush or Bill Clinton would as well. But hey ya never know.

Schiff has said he did not speak to the whistleblower and does not know his identity. But even though his committee did have contact with the whistleblower, Schiff told MSNBC on September 17, after the complaint had been filed, that the committee had not spoken with the whistleblower.
I think it would be foolish of any of the ex-presidents to get involved in this hot potato. Lots of people saying lots of things. Some might even be the truth... but which ones?

DeleteWhether it be a police detective investigation or court testimony by witnesses it's never a good idea to let one hear what the other is claiming. It most certainly would bias their statements.
The Eighth Amendment to the United States Constitution states: “Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.”

I used the wrong account to comment before.Thank you for correcting me .I meant the 6th Amendment giving you the right to question witnesses testifying against you and the right to present witness's on your behalf.If you believe Congressman Schiff didn't write the complaint I got a bridge to sell you.Schiff wouldn't pass on this opportunity.If Schiff didn't write the complaint ,why is he using all this air-time to deny it .It should trouble ALL Americans that a secret posse would even consider holding secret hearings to overthrow the lawfully elected government. Donald flat out admitted he wants Italy, Australia, Ukraine and China to help dig up dirt on his political opponent. Thus involving foreign nations in our elections. Why is it Trump was only concerned about corruption after Biden announced his candidacy in June? Never heard a word from him before that
QUESTION IS..
What line does Trump have to cross?
This is the way I see it. Trump will get reelected and the United States will finally end up going down the tubes. There's nothing anyone can say or do to change America's fate. So all of this back in forth is a mute point. Trump has become a religion. You can't fight religious beliefs with facts. The American experiment in democracy will fail like so many of the others have.
