Here are some MUST SEE videos which complement the narrative pushed by USA Today, The Atlantic Monthly, Chuck and Nancy, and all the Never Trumpers who gotta win this one for the sake of 2020.
Point is... In certain areas we may need stronger or more fences. In others we're doing just fine. The way Trump is carrying on you'd think immigrants are pouring over every inch of the border like some sort of 'D-Day' invasion. Cooler heads need to prevail.
As far as drugs go-- According to testimony at the largest drug cartel leader El Chapo walls made little to no impact on his delivery methods.
I've watched at least 3 dozen videos ranging from residents to border agents both for and against. My conclusion is it all depends on the location whether fences are a better option. I further conclude Donny's all or nothing game of fencing is a bullshit argument.
A combination of increasing hi-tech and good old fashion foot patrol can work wonders. Hi-Tech especially at highly trafficked legal border crossings is a really good start.
I have no problem with legislation limiting the number of refugees who could apply per day. But that's not the law. Trump needs to respect current legislative law.
McConnell needs to respect the will of the people as well. Every state is represented by two Senators. When McConnell blocks their ability to vote he is denying the will of the American people.
So here's the bottom line... Congress needs to reclaim it's power by allowing all our elected leaders to be heard after reviewing all the options available. McConnell nor Trump gets to decide this on their own. Yeah I don't want a bunch of people to overrun our country either but...
It's a really shitty idea to punish millions of our own with a shutdown which accomplishes nothing. All it does is cause everyone to dig in their heels. Let congress (people who represent both sides of us voters) hold hearings and decide the best possible resolution.
If they can't come up with a amiable agreement even that would be better then mucking up the lives of millions of working American lives by taking away their wages.
ONE MORE THING I don't give a fuck who wins in 2020 once this dodo manages to break our trust. Think of it this way. When trust is lost between a married couple it can never be made whole again. Once citizens lose their trust with our government things will never be the same again. Therein lies my problem with Donnie. It's not his policies. It's his uncanny ability to destroy Americans trust between one another and the government itself. That's what makes his disease so dangerous.
