"During his campaign for President, Donald Trump openly mocked people with disabilities. Now he and his allies in Congress are threatening to slash Medicaid—a program 15 million people with disabilities of them rely on for basic living standards. It’s time to tell Donald Trump and Congress: hands of Medicaid."
Trump wants to fund wall with cuts to TSA, FEMA and Coast Guard

Well I can clearly see where the priorities are--and it ain't us. Less money for disaster funding (FEMA). Longer lines at the airport (TSA). Diminished coast guard services. Less money for education, clean air and water, etc. A few days ago a group formed to try and persuade Trump away from his campaign promises to not tinker with Medicare and Social Security. Ain't that a fine kettle of fish.
This president promised a bunch of new great paying jobs. Looks like folks we're sure gonna need them to pay for all these new bombs and that magnificent wall. These may or may not make us safer. One thing is for sure--none of these are going to make us any healthier or improve the quality of our lives.
I can understand there are those who take the view it's not government's responsibility--but who else can protect us from predatory insane drug prices, medical costs, etc. If they don't want to provide it at least enact laws wherein we have a chance to stand on our own.

Politico is now reporting-- A proposal from Reps. Joe Barton (R-Texas) and Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) would freeze Medicaid enrollment under enhanced Obamacare rates at the end of 2017, two years sooner than the GOP repeal bill allows.
