They spoke of unity, idealism and sacrifice. Just about the opposite of everything we're now exposed to. Instead speaking toward unity it seems we've come to be a nation where everybody is at each other's throats because we feel slighted in some way.
Red, Paul and the people in the past of which they spoke are all dead and gone. So too the American idea?
