Brief Opinion On Allentown Election Results

In one phrase.. "Same ole stuff".
In what could be historically the most important election in Allentown only around 6% turned out to vote for next mayor. Only about 15% of those who are registered voted across all races in total.

Obviously a whole bunch don't give a flying fig. There's nearly 120,000 who live within the limits of the city. This breaks down to less then 15% of the population who participated in this election. This is pretty much what I expected. Even though I'm not surprised doesn't mean I don't continue to be disappointed.

What I did find interesting of those who did bother to vote, more then half chose not to vote for any of the candidates running for mayor.

It only takes two words to sum up this election primary...
