Yeah the convict is a scumbag, but it looks like Birmingham taxpayers have been victimized twice. Not only will taxpayers spend $100,000's to warehouse the guy for the next 20 years, but reward scumbag lawyers by lining their pockets as well. I see little 'justice' in all of this for the smucks paying taxes.
