Get Rid Of Fruit Flies Naturally

After bringing in our garden vegetables we harvested these little pests started showing up Not that fruit flies are any big deal, but they are annoying. We have pets and have two young babies we watch. There's no way I want to spray insecticide in the air and all over the kitchen counters, dinning room and all the other places these critters made their home.

Instead I found out what works amazingly well. Place about a quarter to half inch of cider vinegar in a small uncovered desert cup. Add a drop of liquid dishwashing detergent. Apparently these little buggers can smell what they think are apples and come for a fatal swim. This seems to work well with only one tiny desert dish in a large room.

This all came to a head for me when I was typing a post for here. The word processor kept putting a period between words. No matter how many times I backspaced and deleted, it was still there. It wasn't till the period flew away... :-)
