Willing To Pay $20 To Park In A-Town?

Matt Assad of The Morning Call is reporting a company will offer five valet kiosks to park your car for 20 buck$. "The normal fee will be $5 per car, but this is a supply and demand operation, so expect to pay $20 when there is a hockey game, concert or other event at PPL Center. That fee includes the parking fee in the lot where your car ends up.. one of several City Center lots along Seventh and Hamilton streets." Which does not include the tip.

Commentary
I've never been too enthusiastic to hand over my car keys to someone who may or may have not finished high school. May or may not be receiving minimum wage or who's driving record remains unknown to me. Then again some may debate whether wandering city streets late night in Allentown is a wise idea either.

The service will run from 5:00 pm till midnight seven days a week.
