Fix For Windows Live No Longer Working For Hotmail Accounts

If anyone has a problem with this I'll be happy to post the solution I found. Since it's involves a lot of time on my part to post here I've decided only to do this if anyone's interested. I spent several months not receiving or being able to properly send hotmail in 'Windows Live". I wasn't receiving my billing notices or other email I've come to depend on. At long last this seems to work for me.

I'll update THIS POST with the information only if someone request it. Otherwise it would be a waste of a whole lot of my time if nobody has an interest.

Allentown Council Overrides Mayor's Budget

"Tuesday night's special Allentown City Council meeting lasted 11 minutes but proved a few minutes too long for Mayor Ed Pawlowski... the mayor decided to exit before council did what everyone expected them to do - vote to override the mayor's veto..."

I'm not sure how vindictive the mayor can be-- but living down the street from council President Ray O'Connell may not bode well for us getting our street plowed this winter :-)

This picture of the Mayor in Emily Opilo's Morning Call article sure captured the angry mayor's rather intimidating stare towards council. At times it appears he can be one scary dude when things don't go his way.

Bernie Sanders On The State Of The Media

"Over 90 percent of media coverage [during the 2016 presidential race] was not about the issues that impact your lives,” he said, citing “a variety of studies.” Instead, he continued, the stories “were about Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton. They were about political gossip. They were about polls. They were about fundraising. They were about stupid things that people said 20 years ago.

What we must demand of a media is that they start covering the issues that impact our lives. Not just the candidates’ lives.”"

AIN'T THAT THE TRUTH !

My Printer's Rigged Against Me

Five weeks ago my printer's software warned my ink was low. Four weeks ago it said I was out of black ink-- did I want to use my color carts instead. In each I responded with a no and everything printed out just fine. You see I know very well I had bought the extended ink cartridge which this printer failed to recognize. Yesterday I used it and the black ink still worked fine.

Now today the printer's software absolutely forbid me to print stating there was an error. No matter which way I tried to circumvent this all failed. So I was left with no choice but to replace the black cartridge despite it still having ink in it.

Everyone knows some of these printers-- like mine-- are sold at-cost knowing they will make up for it with their overpriced ink-- BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS !

Maybe Wanna Strike This Doll From Your Christmas List

"On Dec. 6, a coalition of international consumer watchdog groups filed a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission. The complaint alleges that the dolls My Friend Cayla and i-Que Intelligent Robot, which use speech-recognition software to have conversations with kids, are using this technology to record their personal information...

The complaint claims that the dolls send the data to a separate company, Nuance Communications, which saves the recordings for future use. It also notes that Nuance, which also makes the dolls’ software, has contracts with military and law enforcement agencies."

It seems these days you can't be over paranoid
