Trump FOS As Usual

According to Wikipedia-- "In August 2005, Comey left the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and became a senior vice president of Lockheed Martin as general counsel while based in Bethesda, Maryland. In 2010, he became general counsel at Bridgewater Associates, based in Westport, Connecticut. In early 2013, he left Bridgewater to become a Senior Research Scholar and Hertog Fellow on National Security Law at Columbia Law School. He served on the board of directors of HSBC Holdings until July 2013."

Wikipedia says-- "Under the direction of U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, Governor Blagojevich was arrested at his home by federal agents on December 9, 2008, and charged with corruption." during the Bush Administration.

Any idiot (other then Trump) would readily see the timelines don't match up. Comey wasn't even in government when this happened. This is why I stopped fact checking Donald a long time ago. Just about everything he says is made up in his head. To him the world is as he wants it to be. Not as it actually is.

Never mind Rod Blagojevich was found guilty on 17 out of his 20 counts. Never mind the jury members, judge, investigators or witnesses. Never mind the Illinois house members by a 114 to 1 vote impeached him whereupon the state senate 59 to 0 twice voted to remove him from office. After he appealed the U.S. Court of Appeals still upheld 12 of the convictions. Even the Supreme court denied a judicial review of his sentencing in March 2016. No, Donald Trump thinks he knows better then all of them.

So what does that make Bill Barr?
Window Dressing?

  1. There IS some connection to both Comey and Mueller. An April 2018 article in Politico claims Mueller was FBI director back when Blago was charged.

The lead Federal Prosecutor Mueller was Illinois’ Pat Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald worked with Comey for the Southern District of New York. Supposedly, they became very close friends. Comey speaks highly of Fitzgerald and Comey hired Fitzgerald as his attorney when Comey was fired by Trump.

Wikileaks can be a very poor source.

      That's some stretch.

I never mentioned WikiLeaks.. what are you talking about?
Which facts are you disputing. The Illinois votes?. The timeline when Comey worked in government? Each easily verifiable no matter which source you prefer (not to even mention the sources used on Wikipedia itself).

What are you inferring here Blagojevich was innocent guy despite everything to the contrary?

  2. Yes. Meant to type Wikipedia. I don’t think it’s a stretch, it’s an actual tie-in to Trump’s statement. The Southern District of New York was the firm of Andrew Weismann, a member of the group calling itself Lawfare. Weismann is actually thought to be the real decision-maker over Mueller. Another member of the SDNY, of course, was Fitzgerald.

SDNY has been trying to trap Trump for years. Wouldn’t surprise me if Trump tied anything to that operation as sketchy.

I believe Blago WAS guilty. The sentence was too harsh, I think. No problem shortening that.

Hey, this was a Politico (left-leaning) explanation. Blago is a Democrat. You should be pleased an Illinois Democrat political voice is back out on the streets! Or, maybe, you should fear what he knows goes on out in that state!

Oh, yes . . . I don’t use Google, so I can’t edit my posts here. Regardless, appreciate you including my opposing views.

So what you're saying Mueller (Republican). Comey (Republican). Fitzgerald (Republican). Weissmann appointed to SDNY by H.W. Bush (Republican). All working under the Republican Bush administration all conspired to overcharge Blagovich the ex-governor (a Democrat). A few years later these very same people are accused by Trump of conspiring with Democrats to bring him down.

Does this explain why he released Blagovich? To put down the work of all those I mentioned above who dared challenge his power as payback. Not because he thought Blagovich's sentence was too harsh.

I am neither pleased when a criminal liar is back on the streets. Nor fear a proven liar who has no creditably.

    1. That's no the point. Trump tweeted Comey was involved when he was not. Hence why I named this the way I did.
