ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how that's going to help. We were promised by both Republicans and Democrats the daily number would help. Eventually it turned into several daily drawings, power ball and mega millions. OTB followed by casino slots eventually giving way to table games and online gambling and sports betting. Now we're going into marijuana sales and yet I haven't seen one cent of my taxes going down. What's next... legal prostitution?

I can't see how the City of Allentown can pay it's expenses w/o a property tax increase.The new mayor knew this would be an issue going into election and must deal with it
