Don't Get Suckered This Holiday Season

Numerous sources are reporting a bunch of emails going out claiming to be from various retailers Some falsely claim either items have shipped or cannot shipped for whatever reason. Whether you bought something or not-- NEVER EVER click on any of them. Go to your bookmarked accounts or enter through a search engine.

These cons are very convincing. In most cases they copy and paste the exact same code as the retailer's site. Difference is their hyperlinks are redirected to their corrupt sites.

Someone opening such an email or message on their mobile device or on their home computer is exposed. Many of the graphics presented link to those of their own-- in essence confirming you've looked at them.

I've gotten several dozens of these myself over the last few weeks, so I know they're out there.
