An annoyance of mine are these TV assignment reporters. When someone gets knocked down outside they end up on the ground, the grass, pavement, asphalt or anything other then "the floor". Floors are inside. Those others I mentioned are not.

Another classic is watching the TV camera focus on the "street" sign while the reporter is saying the incident happen on the road. The street sign clearly states it's a street. Have ADD?

An avenue is not a "AVE."  There's no such word. Call the roadway what it is. 

While I'm at it there is no such word as "SATRad" either. This is another abbreviation. This one for 'satellite radar'. Please spend the milliseconds of energy it would expend to speak correctly.

Things get worse on social media. Smart phones cannot make people look smarter then they are.

        Examples:

            I rote to him about it.

            I liked it to.

            It stuck to my tung.

            Some sno we had.

            I red that somewhere.

            That was sum show.

            It was after darc.

            Man your dum!

About Those High Gasoline Prices..

It roils me the amount of misinformation going around. The majority of which blames President Biden.





(1) Can someone show me one country in the world where prices are not going up? Biden cannot control prices in this country let alone prices in other countries throughout the world.

(2) Last year we used more oil then the year before. This year is on track for using even more. Yet there is no shortage at any pump. Therefore the problem is with prices rather then supply issues.

(3) There are at least 3 major oil companies supposedly competing. How come everyone of them charge the same prices within pennies? Price fixing?

(4) We used to drive efficient vehicles. Now a whole bunch of people are driving huge pickups they have no use for. Most which wouldn't fit in my garage. This along with the unnecessary single driver in a 5 or 7 seater SUV', vans, etc.

(5) I much rather spend $5 a gallon then not being able to get gasoline like we couldn't several years ago when it was less then half this price.

(6) Gasoline companies are not patriots. There's absolutely no incentive having to transport and hope to sell 20% more fuel to earn the same income they get delivering 20% less product. The same oil companies that show they're making record profits.

(7) People love to point fingers, whine and complain about everything. It's what we do.

Prices in a Russian GROCERY STORE After SANCTIONS as of 02/28/2022

I noticed at the end of their shopping trip they got on an elevator to the 1st floor parking deck. Great idea for our stores who have problems with snatch and grabs. Imagine scooping up your stolen bounty only to end up locked in an elevator. Works for me!

Once again we need to remind ourselves Russian people are not our enemy. The Russian government is. This is what makes Putin so putrid. He's pitting people all over the world against one another other.

My advice. Take whatever money you can spare and pay down your loans. Especially mortgage loans. Put it in FDIC backed savings accounts. You may not make much on interest but you'll never lose your money either. To my way of thinking if you're playing the stock market you might as well invest it in horse racing or in casino games. Take a look around. Ask someone you know who's playing stocks and ask them how they've made out.

That's it in the nutshell. I'm so sick of hearing this bullshit that somehow the Keystone pipeline would be anything then other then what it is. Year after year even up to today ignorant people have no idea what their talking about. It was never meant to significantly fuel the United States... PERIOD. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about.

It most certainly won't help lower gasoline prices either. In order to make a profit extracting tar sands oil the price must stay above $100 a barrel for this highly polluting type of crude. This translates to nearly the same we're now paying at the pump. As of this writing oil is currently $105.81 a barrel.
