  1. President Trump announced Friday he would place reciprocal tariffs on Canadian dairy and lumber if they don't drop their rate. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Canada does have need nor want them. They already have too much. Why do you think they put tariffs on them.

This kind of thing that drives me nuts. Trump is so FOS. I spent entirely too much time fact checking him in his first term to repeat the same mistake again. It's too exhausting. Just assume 80% of what he says is plain old BS.

    1. Intel is investing more than $100 billion to increase domestic chip manufacturing capacity and capabilities. The historic investment is supported by nearly $8 billion in U.S. CHIPS Act. The CHIPS and Science Act is a U.S. federal statute enacted by the 117th United States Congress and signed into law by President Joe Biden on August 9, 2022. The act authorizes roughly $280 billion in new funding to boost domestic research and manufacturing of semiconductors in the United States.

    2. By March 2024, analysts estimated that the act incentivized between 25 and 50 separate potential projects, with total projected investments of $160–200 billion and 25,000–45,000 new jobs.
