Here's over a 9 hour playlist (188 Videos) of AI generated music videos. Sorry, I'm just not into todays music. Everday I add a few more to the end of the playlist.

TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK

The vocals in these videos seem better to me then artists of today's music.
Same goes with the lyrics. Much better as well.

These Gun Control Videos Speak For Themselves

Repost

Obama 2016

Ronald Reagan 1989

George W. Bush

This is the fourth post I've made concerning gun control and have yet one person dispute any of them. I take this to mean all the baloney arguments against increasing gun ownership requirements is just something partisans like to hurl at one another like it were some sort of sport of gamesmanship.

It's further my conclusion (since no one raised an objection in the comments) everyone agrees with me, right?

Another Way Composers Can Earn A Decent Buck

Repost

Up and coming music writers may think they can only earn a living by scoring hit tunes recorded by famous artists or creating musicals. Among the dozens I've followed Nick Hutson of Chiswick in the U.K. found his niche in neither of those.

Although he started out writing a musical he's met his success by writing music for theme parks scattered throughout the world. Which goes to show if a musical writer can think outside the box there's still money to be made even if your name doesn't become world famous to the public.

Here's another guy I followed for a long time. He never gave us his name. He doesn't have a website either, but game makers know very well who he is. He not only scores music but does character voices for video game makers.

So yes kids there's more then one way to break an omelet if you're looking to score in the music biz

Way The 2016 Elections Played Out

Repost

How To Lose An Election
As far as the media was concerned it wasn't about the elections but instead lining their pockets trying every possible way to achieve the highest ratings and selling the most print they could. Stirring up controversies proved a valuable tool for them. On one hand you had Donald making himself readily available via numerous campaign speeches and frequent appearances if only under friendly network settings. On the other Hillary--overlay optimistic about assuming victory--didn't match the same rhetoric Donald was putting into his campaign. Nor willing to appear as readily on TV. As a result Hillary received less coverage. This allowed Donald Trump to seize the campaign spotlight with his flamboyant style. Donald was the to go to guy who could both fill news columns and airtime stirring up controversy. Things hungry media feeds on.

The Bernie Sanders Factor
What neither party saw coming was the impact Bernie Sanders would have. Him being set aside by the democratic party proved to be a big mistake. There were rumors of scheming against Bernie within the democratic party before Hillary officially declared her candidacy. One could argue whether or not this led to Bernie's elimination in the primaries. Let us take a look at a few advantages his presence might have brought if he had not have been eliminated. (1) A huge fuss was made over Hillary's speaking fees. Bernie neither spoke to wall street executive gatherings nor received fees. This would have been one less talking point against the democrats leading contender.

(2) People were in a frenzy slugging it out between both leading candidate's baggage they'd bring to the White House. Meanwhile Bernie's record is clean as a whistle. He doesn't have a foundation nor own a bunch of businesses whereby he could benefit from some decision he made He doesn't have a boatload of emails hanging over his head. Wikileaks didn't have a thing on Bernie.

(3) Bernie's net worth is around $528,000 compared to the Clintons said worth of $121,000,000--250x's larger. With Donald nobody knows. Let's just agree he's well off. I'm sure many reading this might be in the same camp as Bernie. Factoring in a home, savings, cars and whatever it's not too unreasonable to say Bernie pretty much squares with the rest of us peons. If not certainly a whole lot closer then the other two. This would lead one to believe Bernie could better relate to the average family's income. More importantly it tells us he hasn't gamed the system in Washington to become a multimillionaire like the rest of the bunch down there. Talk about draining the swamp-- electing Bernie would have been a good start.

(4) Republicans had the advantage of knowing Hillary would be the front runner democrats would put up eight years down the road. All eyes were on sacking the quarter back carrying the football. Which in this case was Hillary. This gave them plenty of time to prepare. Bernie's sudden appearance could have thrown them off their game.
In Conclusion
Neither Donald nor Bernie received their respective party's support. The difference was republicans didn't impede their candidates. I'm not sure the same can be said for the democratic party. No one can say whether Bernie could have won against Trump. We'll never know since it wasn't the way things turned out. However it still makes me wonder if it had.

Explanation For All The Craziness In Washington D.C.

I Have An Explanation For All The Craziness In Washington D.C. It's all rather simple. 10 Years ago a meteorite landed in Washington D.C. with brain bugs inside. At least that was the explanation given by the TV show "BRAINDEAD" in 2016 which we watched faithfully/ Well, it's good an accounting as any I suppose.

What I've Learned Over My 72 Years

Repost (I'm Now 78)

People are hard wired in only two ways. Those willing to self reflect and accept new information. Those who simply will not. The latter cannot be reasoned with and most likely project who they are as if it were the other who were doing what they themselves are guilty of. There's no changing this. As for the earlier of the two (willing to self reflect accepting new information) it is they who are in the minority. There's plainly no compromising between the two. Anyone attempting to bridge this gap will serve only to frustrate themselves. At this point I'm willing to accept this for what it is. It's a lot less stressing. You are you and I am me. It is what it is.. a fact of life.

When we where young we all did stupid things. Few of us (if we had to do it all over again) would do some of the stupid stuff we once did. Especially over the influence of raging hormones with our relationships. Also some of the chances we took never realizing how physically vulnerable we were.

Life's a crap shoot. All too often good things happen to bad people. While on the other hand bad things happen to some really good people. All this seems to defy our best efforts or intentions. What seems to console us is to accept what we can change and accept those we cannot.

Ideologies cannot be changed at the point of a gun. Countless people have died for their beliefs which they carried to their graves. I guess it's just part of the drama of life. This cannot be changed..

Music uses another part of the brain. One which everyone unites if only for the moment. Some forms of music appeals to one segment. Not to another. What each has in common, all intellectual reasoning's are temporarily suspended bringing people together if for a little while. Entertainment (including comedy) is perhaps the best path to uniting us with what each of us have in common with one another.

Political leaders may influence us when we pay attention to them. However most of us, by ignoring them, will find our differences are far fewer. By nature these are largely self serving individuals who depend on our weakest animosities for their livelihoods.

Nearly every comment on social media is a game of competition. Rather then supporting others most of these insecure lowlifes depend on fueling their egos via how much they can impugn another's beliefs. Ignoring them only increases their anguish causing them to take it up another notch. Their anguish increase my pleasure. So there's that.

Progress cannot be measured how many more structures we build or how many more people can be stuffed into a certain area. Rather how much more lives can be improved within an existing community. Neither can technology improve one's life without being able to simplify it. All too many times technology makes it more difficult. The goal software programmers and others should be to make things less complicated then they were before. This is not happening. Most likely because many would prefer to profit from such things.

Religion is making a huge profit off invisible products. Bad health, death, natural disasters, financial loss, accidents, earthquakes, fires.,, whatever misfortunes.. They're all suppose to be part of God's mysterious plan. We're suppose to believe God sits on his throne everyday taking millions of prayer requests Meanwhile religious leaders are enriching themselves. I don't care how many times these guys do the hokey pokey around the alter or how much money people throw at the cause it isn't going to change one damn thing. Indeed God may exist, but he/she/it isn't going to become subservient to mankind's foolish wishes. How many more thousands of years and catastrophic events will it take before people figure this out?

I also figured out my life or opinions are no more meaningful then any others. This blog only serves to vent my thoughts at the moment for the day. Some of these could change as I grow older. Now that I shared mine how about yours?

Assuming no one responds it will only serve to validate my belief people could care less. None the less let it not be said I wasn't forthright and willing to share some of my inner most thoughts with the world.

Are you willing to do the same?

Neil deGrasse Tyson | America's Brain Drain

New York Post : China lures away 105 top American minds in bid to dominate med, tech fields. China is aggressively poaching America’s top scientists in its rabid quest for global dominance in fields like medicine, space and tech, with at least 105 of the best and brightest defecting to the communist nation since 2024.

I've mentioned it before.. what we're seeing is the decline of the United States.

Dishonesty Getting Worse

Repost With Reedits

It seems every time I turn around someone is trying to scam the system or some other individual.

Most all of our nation's troubles boil down to taking personal responsibility. Too many fail to realize what happens when our only concern is our own being. By not taking into consideration others who have to live on this planet too we are only making it worse for ourselves.

When it comes to the common environment we all share the well being and fair dealings with other people it seems too few are able to understand how we all are interconnected.

There's no amount of religion, laws or regulations that can fix this. I'm not sure if education can solve this either. This is something that either is or isn't in the hearts of people. I'm not sure there is even a way. Nor understand the source of the reasons for this. One thing I am certain of... garbage in equals garbage out. No matter how well intentions are if people don't carry those intentions through to action we're all screwed.

Selfishness is like a disease. It spreads itself starting with one person whom the next says they did to me so the hell with them. Soon others then justify their actions telling themselves everyone else is doing it so why shouldn't I?

Everyone seems to be pointing the finger at everyone else. There's too few left able to see their own reflection in the mirror as to how they are part of the problems they helped create.

Everyone of us make mistakes. The important thing is to admit in most instances many of the bad things that happen are a result of them. Nobody's perfect that's for sure. But this constant finger pointing and justifying as a excuse to continue doing them is carrying ignorance to the extreme. This will neither benefit individuals nor this nation

No one should expect someone outside of themselves will come to the rescue at the end of the day. The bottom line is we are each accountable and will suffer the consequences thereof if we don't care about others as well as ourselves.

Let's Get Rid Of Tip$

Repost

Money Talks.com-- "Customers of Pittsburgh’s Bar Marco restaurant soon won’t have to calculate a tip for their server. The restaurant is implementing a no-tips policy in April."

I'm not sure how all this tipping business got started, but it's long past due to end this practice.

I once had a boss whom my former coworkers complained to why he never complimented them for good work. His reply was "I don't thank my employees for good work. Good work is what I expect from each and everyone of you." While it did tick some of them off it does make perfect sense.

What makes certain occupations different from others?
Take for example, when a cash register operator at the grocery store or a retail clerk rings me up I haven't a compulsion to tip them for doing so. Neither a service repairman. To name just a few of many. Why then a barber, food server, hotel worker, bartender or cab driver?

When someone goes to a store or makes use of a service repairman each of their salaries are already factored in the bill we pay. This is between them and their employer. Why should certain others not be?

Take a restaurant for example. Instead of getting a $10 bill for the food, just make the menu price $11.50 instead (15% more). Other then feeling guilty or sorry for someone because their employer doesn't pay them enough I doubt most people would otherwise leave a tip.

If someone's lousy at their job there are plenty of recourses for employers and customers to make it known to an employee. Just like in any other job where someone doesn't perform well they are left go. Should bartenders, hair stylists, food workers, etc. be treated any differently then the majority of us who do not expect to be rewarded every time we do that which is expected of us?

Auto Industry Making Stupid Loans

Repost

Honda Warns Against ‘Stupid’ Auto Loans-- "A top U.S. executive at Honda Motor Co. said competitors are doing “stupid things” to boost auto sales, including making seven-year-long car loans that harm buyers.

Automakers are increasingly selling vehicles with 84-month loans that reduce monthly payments while making it tougher to repay faster than cars lose value.."

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should
I know one guy bragged how he owed more then his debtors would ever hope to collect if he should die... and he did. Unfortunately his wife, daughter & her husband and all three grandkids living with him were evicted from their home. Along with a camper and the cars were repossessed upon his death as well. Not to mention the companies he dealt with took a bath.

I'm sure he was not alone living years ahead of what he and others will be unable to afford. This isn't good for anyone nor the companies that are foolish enough to play this kind of game. There are plenty of executives who will do all kinds of things to make things appear good on paper. They get a promotion along with a raise. Then leave the company before the shit hits the fan. Then mix, stir and repeat somewhere else.

It's not a matter of if, but rather when. How long do you think this nonsense will last before the whole shebang collapses the entire economy?

How England's Royals Pick Their Names

Repost

Now if all this naming business becomes a bit confusing 'The Official Website of The British Monarch' explains it this way."Members of the Royal Family can be known both by the name of the Royal house, and by a surname, which are not always the same. And often they do not use a surname at all.

Before 1917, members of the British Royal Family had no surname, but only the name of the house or dynasty to which they belonged.

Kings and princes were historically known by the names of the countries over which they and their families ruled. Kings and queens therefore signed themselves by their first names only, a tradition in the United Kingdom which has continued to the present day."
In other words. Surnames can come from their various 'dynasties', but can also sometimes change due to their 'line of succession'. That is, if they choose to use them at all. Hey, when your royalty you get to make the rules, right? :-)

How The Game Is Played
The line of succession goes from the first born eldest male heir to the throne (Prince Charles). The next in line would be his first born male child (not his brothers). In this case Prince William. Now that William has had a son, that son becomes 3rd in line (knocking Harry out of 3rd place pushing him back to 4th).

Let's mucky this up a bit more. If Prince Charles never had a son his younger brother (Prince Andrew Duke Of York) was 2nd in line to the thrown. However since he has had two sons, Prince William and Prince Henry Charles Albert David (Prince Harry), that pushed Andrew back to 4th place.

Prince Harry was in 3rd in line but now that William & Kate had their baby that pushes him back to 4th and leaving Prince Andrew now 5th in line for the throne. Prince Andrew's 2 kids along with Prince Charles's other brother (Prince Edward Earl of Wessex) are pretty much out of the running as they are now in 6th thru 9th heirs to the throne. They could be pushed back even further if Prince Harry were to have a son sometime in the future. Clear as mud, eh?

Fret not. If your still confused (and who wouldn't be) check out the royal site for the whole scoop on 'succession' and 'precedence' for the royal events. There's also a listing of the current sixteen royal families. In addition check out the currently occupied royal castles and palaces along with the 23 others which are no longer occupied and a whole bunch of other goodies.

Why the Dutch Wait Less at Traffic Lights

Repost

This more efficient flow not only creates improved  safety but so too benefits a city's economy. More deliveries can be made in a certain span of time. Less accidents means less costs for emergency services. Less stress for pedestrians, riders and drivers. Greater fuel efficiency. Less traffic of all kinds within a certain time span because many arrive at their destinations before things become backed up.

Every year the United States falls further behind other nations newest innovations.
Why is that?
