Putin Turning Water Into Wine?

Merkel, Putin agree to four-way talks on Kerch Strait "BERLIN (Reuters) - German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed on Saturday to hold further talks about events in the Kerch Strait at the advisor level between Ukraine, Russia, France and Germany, her spokesman said."

Some of you may be familiar with Russia blocking and seizing Ukraine's ships from entering the Black Sea. Some accused Ukraine of trying to create an issue so the United States would get involved with their military conflict against Russia. The way we and the Ukraine handled it was calling for Turkey to block Russia's ships in Istanbul from crossing into the Mediterranean (the only way into entering open ocean). Thus further escalating tensions.

Putin may be a lot of things but no one can ever accuse him of being stupid. Now I begin to wonder if it was a plan initiated by Russia all along before the G20 summit. Here's why... Step 1: Confront/seize Ukraine's ships creating an international crisis.
Step 2: Undermine the United States trade proposals at the G20 summit by cutting deals with France and Germany to make the problem go away. No wonder Putin was so happy.
