Sounds like a plan to me. Next time the Eagles play a home game the refs ought to call the game as soon as the Eagles are ahead. Who wants to waste their time sitting around waiting for all four quarters to play out. You know this sounds like a good idea for the Sixers, Phillies and Flyers home games too.
I wonder if this is how Trump plays golf?
As I post at 13 Nov. at 2:35 pm The Call and WFMZ still have not announced who won the old 15th.Congressional District race.What's up with that ?
ReplyDeleteLehigh County began it's official counts on Friday (11/09/2018) and still aren't done yet. Hence there is still no official announcement.
DeleteHowever according to The Lehigh County Website these are the unofficial numbers...
Susan Wild Democratic- 66,657 votes (54.14% )
Marty Nothstein Republican- 52,057 votes (42.28% )
Tim Silfies Libertarian- 4,410 votes (3.58 % )
Total Votes 123,124 (100.00%)
I checked The Pennsylvania Secretary of State's election site at 8:00 a.m. 14 Nov.and of 100 % reporting Mr.Northstein beat Congressman Wild by 58 votes.There's more than one way to skin a cat.

"But when everybody turned off the lights on election night, Nothstein was leading in the special election for that 15th seat, but now, with additional provisional and absentee ballots being counted, there's been a flip-flop.
Wild is now leading with 311 votes. But Lehigh County election officials say they still have nearly 4,000 ballots left to count, and in Northampton, officials say they are also still counting -- no word on how many.
The election results are supposed to be certified next week. But right now, it's unclear when voters will have an answer."
