Trump's Trade Wars

His supporters think Trump is a economic genus. Me not so much. In fact I'd go so far as to say the guy's an uneducated dope. Donald has taken it upon himself to declare a trade war with our fellow G7 member nations and China. Each have promised to retaliate for each and every tariff he puts on them. I shouldn't need to tell people how this will turn out. We've seen how the end of the story played out before. For the sake of those who just arrived on the planet let us take a brief look back.

Those unfamiliar with the politics of Milton Friedman let us just say he was someone who couldn't possibly be accused of being in cahoots with Democrats.

A Couple Of FactsBMW's largest manufacturing plant in the world is located in South Carolina. Fiat/Chrysler, Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Volkswagen all manufacture cars here. Somehow the dope Trump is under some mistaken goofy impression otherwise.

It's also worth noting not one of Donald's proposed tariffs would affect him or any member of his family's business interest. Most (if not all- except the MAGA hat) of their products are imported from 12 other nations. In 2016 THE WASHINTON POST created a list of them.
