Football Players React To Trump In Today's Games

I wondered how this would go after our divider and chief made a big deal out of players kneeling during the national anthem.

Except for one player the Pittsburgh Steelers decided to wait it out in the locker room. A few other teams had some players kneel with owners, management & coaches locked in arms in support standing physically behind them.

Then there was this performance at the Falcons-Detroit Lions game..

I Never Saw That Coming--VERY CREATIVE :-)

Apparently the commander and chief must have had a little extra time between the floods, NK threats, Obamacare repeal, up coming NAFTA negotiations this week, budget negotiations, tax overhaul and the daily briefing to take in a few games. He tweeted this out...

Gee Donald you do know what locking their arms means don't you? Here's a hint--it's not a compliment. But hey if you're happy....

Eric Holder reminds us why players kneel. It started with MLK.

The ones making a bigger deal out of this then it is are talk show hosts and Trump. The players' only sin is to face the flag while kneeling in silence. The players weren't disrespecting the flag as some claim They weren't behaving like the hundreds of police who turned their backs toward N.Y. Mayor De Blasio while in uniform.

January 2015

I'm not in favor of either one. BUT the implied racial overtones and difference of the outrage expressed between the two cannot be ignored.
