Political Gridlock Question

Most of us are fed up with the extreme views coming from either the "left" or "right" side of the aisle. This resultant gridlock is preventing little to get done. That may be a good thing!

Here's the question,Gridlock: Isn't that a indicator that we have a good form of government? In some countries if one side or the other predominates, the country swings too far and can become fascists, an oligarchy or one that has too many socialistic tendencies. Do nothing government "gridlock" can prevent this from happening. Therefore we should look at "gridlock" as a positive outcome when two ideologies become far too radical.

Throughout this nation's history, gridlock ended when we've met up somewhere between the two. That's a good thing.

When the founders put together this country's form of government even they couldn't imagine how well their form of government would work these many years later?Or, did they?
